| Making A Purchase Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout now" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order. The prices quoted are for internet orders only. The price in our shop will not necessarily be the same. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from EU countries, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to Euros. Please note that the Euro conversion shown is only a guide. We accept Visa, Delta, Switch, Solo and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post, or preferably over the Internet using our encrypted shopping cart. Schools and local authorities can place an order to be paid upon invoice. All we need is an official order (which can be faxed), and we can then ship immediately. | Shipping And Handling Delivery is FREE within the UK If you require any special arrangements, then this will be charged at cost. You can have music or reeds sent first-class for an extra £0.50p. We also accept orders from countries within the EU. The shipping charge will be calculated for you in the shopping basket. Again, any special arrangements will be charged at cost. Music and small goods are generally sent aimail as "small packets" or "printed papers". Instruments are sent by insured Airmail parcel service. Deliveries to the Channel Islands is FREE up to 2 kilograms. After this weight, the carriage charge will be calculated for you in the shopping basket after you have selected your country. |
| Delivery Schedule We will normally send your order within 1 business day. Orders received before 1pm will normally be sent the same day. Instruments are sent by next-day courier, music and small items are usually sent 2nd class mail. You also have the option of having music and reeds sent first class for an extra £0.50. International orders are generally received in under 7 days. |
| Back Orders We only show items in our catalogue that we regularly keep in stock. We do try to indicate on this site when an item is temporarily not available. but there will be occasions when we are out of stock of a particular product. If your order is not available for immediate shipment we will let you know by e-mail. We will also give you an approximate delivery date, and the option to cancel if you wish. In any case, we never take payment until we are dispatching the goods. |
| Tax Charges All prices are shown inclusive of vat. Music is 0% and everything else is 17.5%. Items to the Channel Islands are free of vat. This will show up when you select your country as "Channel Islands" in the shopping basket. |
| Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. Your card details are transferred to a secure server (as shown by the golden padlock), and are only decrypted after they reach our computer. Your details are not held in clear text on any web site. |
| Guarantee All instruments carry a one year guarantee against faulty manufacture. We honour all guarantees in just the same way as if they were purchased in our shop. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. We only collect enough information in order to process your order. We will not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). Data collected by this site is used to: a. | Returns Policy We want you to be happy with your purchase. You may cancel your order (without giving any reason), by notifying us within 14 days from receipt of the goods. You must then return the goods at your own expense. You must return the goods in the original packaging, and they must be in a new condition. Reeds and similar items cannot be returned, for hygene reasons, unless they are returned unopened in their original packaging. Refunds will be made within 10 days of cancellation. Instruments & accessories have a one year guarantee against faulty workmanship. If the goods are faulty (or not what was ordered), then contact us within 7 days, and we will arrange return at our own expense. Your statutory rights remain unaffected at all times. |
